When have you start colecting Hoyas ?

I start colecting Hoyas last year, in 2007, when I had only a H.carnosa, a thomsonii received from Stefana ( thanks again ), and 3 cuttings from outside the country : curtisii (dead), shepherdi ( changed ) and linearis .

After that, I was keep searching on the net about Hoya, and I was surprised to know how many are they...
This year was a good year for buying Hoyas, cuttings or big plants, and now I`m happy to have more than 80 Hoyas...
Now I have to go to the next step - to see what they like, and to get them a good acomodation process.
I hope I will manage to grow them all well...

I think I have now had my Hoya carnosa for 10 years, but it was possibly 3 or 4 years ago that I made my first search for Hoya - and suddenly I realised there were lots of these plants! My collection started, and every year I increase the number of plants I have by about 10 (although I think this year it was more than 15!). Last winter I lost several plants mostly through cold and dark, so this winter I am trying to keep the house warmer and have a light on my plants that comes on automatically every day.

I hope, too, that I manage to grow them all well, and that I have now chosen the right conditions for them.
