Tell us more about praetorii

Hoya praetorii is one of the favorites Hoya...
In Romania there are only a few rooted cuttings...
Please tell us more about how do you grow this Hoya...
Is it a sensitive species ?

Yes, H. praetorii is a little bit more sensetive. It needs more water and not in full sun Place a little bit darker. Exellent in a self watering pot. Give fertilizer, not to much. The leaves are easy to be yellow, but new will come.
The peduncels fall off after blooming could bloom 2 times or more before they drop and the peduncels are a bit yellow from beginning.

I have a praetorii from a week now, and the leaves turned in yellow...althought it had roots.
I have put it, hoping it will live, under a glass of plastic.

Mine doesn't seem to be too fussy, I have put it near a window and it doesn't mind. I have kept it on a heat mat as it seems to like the warmth and it has grown well this year, and has even produced a peduncle. I have fed it as much as my other hoyas, with 32-33-7 cactus fertilizer. I have got the odd yellow leaf but in the most part it seems to be happy.

Althought the leaves fall off, 2 of 3, the cutting is still green, so I think it has a chance...and it seems that it wants to develop new leaves...so, maybe I will be lucky...

Who knows a sure method for rooting this beautiflull Hoya ...praetorii ?
